What Keap is
Keap (formerly Infusionsoft) is a CRM with marketing and sales automation built in. Instead of an email tool plus a separate CRM, invoicing app and scheduler, Keap puts contacts, tags, lead scoring, pipelines, email and text campaigns, landing pages, appointment booking, quotes, invoices and payments in one account, with a drag-and-drop automation builder tying them together.
That breadth is the reason to choose it and the reason it costs more than an email platform. If you only need newsletters and simple automations, an ESP like ActiveCampaign or a CRM-linked tool like Capsule & Transpond is the cheaper route.
Pricing and required costs
On Oct 10, 2026 Keap listed one plan with the full platform, starting at $299 a month billed monthly or $2,988 a year (about $249 a month) billed annually. The starting price covers 1,500 contacts and 2 users; extra users are $39 a month each, and larger contact tiers cost more.
- Implementation is required. Keap’s pricing page lists “required implementation services” as a one-time cost. Confirm the current amount with Keap before you buy.
- Annual contracts carry a $299 early termination fee, according to Keap.
- Texting: the base tier includes 500 messages and 100 voice minutes; larger texting tiers are paid add-ons, and text broadcasts and automated texts are U.S.-only.
- Payment processing fees apply when you take payments through Keap.
Free trial
Keap offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card. The trial is limited: Keap caps it at 25 emails, requires DKIM setup before sending, and turns off payment processing and texting. That is enough to test the CRM and automation builder, not to run a real campaign.
Keap names Zapier (5,000+ apps), Gmail, Outlook, PayPal and Stripe among its integrations, plus an open API with webhooks.

Final Verdict
Keap makes sense when you would otherwise pay for a CRM, an email tool, a scheduler and invoicing separately and want them automated together. If email marketing is the main job, start with an ESP; see our small-business picks.
