What Reply.io is
Reply.io describes itself as a sales engagement platform: you build sequences that reach prospects by email and, on the right plan, by LinkedIn, phone, SMS and WhatsApp, with follow-ups that stop when someone replies. Its developer documentation also exposes the same workspace through a REST API and an MCP server, so sequences can be run from AI tools.
It sits in the same lane as lemlist, not alongside newsletter platforms. If you email people who opted in to your list, you want an email marketing platform instead; see our cold outreach guide for why the two should not share a sending domain.
Plans and what they include
Reply.io sells two self-serve outreach plans, priced per user, plus a managed AI SDR product (prices below are the annual-billing “starts from” figures on Reply.io’s pricing page on Oct 10, 2026; Reply says annual billing saves up to 17%):
- Email Volume from $49 per user/month, sized by active contacts (1,000 active contacts a month at the entry price). Unlimited mailboxes and email warmup, unlimited emails to active contacts, 50 live-data credits a month and a deliverability suite. LinkedIn automation ($69 a month per account) and calls & SMS ($29 a month per account) are add-ons.
- Multichannel from $89 per user/month: email (10 mailboxes), LinkedIn, calls and SMS, semi-automated WhatsApp and Zapier steps in one plan, with unlimited active contacts, CSM onboarding and team reporting.
- Jason AI SDR from $500 a month: Reply’s AI agent that finds prospects, writes personalized messages and handles responses.
Reply.io defines an active contact as a unique person who receives a first-step email in a month; follow-ups to that person do not count again. Its “unlimited mailboxes” claim is subject to a fair-usage policy tied to your active-contact limit.
Channels and data
Beyond email, Reply.io lists LinkedIn steps (connection requests, messages and InMails, voice messages), a built-in dialer with call transcripts, automated SMS, and WhatsApp. Its B2B contact database and email finder use live-data credits, and email validation is sold as an add-on.
Native CRM integrations named on the pricing page are Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Copper and Close. Cold email still lives or dies on list quality: verify addresses with a tool like Bouncer before you load a sequence.
